Dustin McDaniel, American lawyer and politician, 55th Arkansas Attorney General

Dustin Blake McDaniel (born April 29, 1972) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 55th Attorney General of Arkansas from 2007 to 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, he currently is a partner in the Little Rock law firm of McDaniel, Richardson & Calhoun, PLLC. As of 2022, McDaniel is the last Democrat to hold the position of Arkansas Attorney General.

McDaniel's practice focuses on administrative law, regulatory affairs, government relations, business litigation and criminal law. He represents individuals and businesses ranging from healthcare to technology, as well as regulated industries such as tobacco and medical cannabis. McDaniel is licensed in the District of Columbia and enjoys a national law practice representing individuals and corporations interacting with State Attorneys General, Governors, and Arkansas state government. From 2005-2007, McDaniel served in the Arkansas House of Representatives, serving on the House Public Health, Welfare, and Labor Committee and as Co-Chair of the Joint Select Committee on Health Insurance and Prescription Drugs.
