Danny Trejo, American actor

Danny Trejo ( Spanish: [ˈtɾexo]) (born May 16, 1944) is an American actor.

Trejo's movie career began in the 1980s, when he accidentally landed in the American indie film Runaway Train, where he played the role as a boxer for a daily fee of 320 dollars. He went on to star in a multitude of other films, including Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Con Air (1997), From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money (1999), From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (1999), Reindeer Games (2000), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie (2004) and Grindhouse (2007). With frequent collaborator and his 2nd cousin Robert Rodriguez, he portrayed the character of Isador "Machete" Cortez, which was originally developed for the Spy Kids series (2001–11). and was later expanded into its own franchise of the same name.
