Gérald Tremblay, Canadian businessman and politician, 41st Mayor of Montreal

Gérald Tremblay (born September 20, 1942) is a Canadian former politician and businessman who served as mayor of Montreal from 2002 until his resignation in 2012. He also served as president of the Montreal Metropolitan Community. Before becoming mayor he had a long career in business and management. Tremblay resigned as Mayor on November 5, 2012 following allegations of corruption made at the Charbonneau Commission.
