Denis Alibec, Romanian footballer
Denis Alibec (born 5 January 1991) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Super League Greece club Atromitos, on loan from Süper Lig club Kayserispor, and the Romania national team.
Alibec began his senior career at Farul Constanța, and at age 18 was signed by Italian side Inter Milan. He only appeared twice in the Serie A for the Nerazzurri and was loaned out several times, before being brought back to Romania by Astra Giurgiu where he became a regular starter and goalscorer. He aided them in winning their first national title in the 2015–16 season, and his display inspired a move to his former youth club FCSB in 2017. Alibec then fell out of favour in the capital and transferred back to Astra after only one and a half seasons. In 2020, he changed countries again by moving to Turkey with Kayserispor.
Internationally, Alibec featured for the Romania national team at under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels, before earning his full debut in 2015. The following year, he represented the country in the European Championship.
