Richard Delgado, American lawyer and academic
Richard Delgado (born October 6, 1939) is an American legal scholar who teaches civil rights and critical race theory at the University of Alabama School of Law. He has written and co-authored numerous articles and books, many with his wife, Jean Stefancic. He is considered one of several "founders" of Critical Race Theory, and is also notable for his scholarship on hate speech and for introducing storytelling into legal scholarship.
